On September 7, junior backup quarterback for UNH, Henri 'Hank' Hendricks, 21, was charged with murder, assault and battery. The charges came after a May 24 incident while Hendricks was home in San Diego for summer break.

Weather conditions on Apr. 21 proved to be ideal for distance running, and the result was one of the most memorable Boston Marathons in history. The pleasant weather brought out an immense and enthusiastic crowd that was treated to two special honors: seeing the closest women's finish in race history, and seeing Saint Anselm College Junior Nick Rich running the course donning just a "Speedo" swimsuit and a sweatband.

Thirty-nine Harvard ruggers set off last week for the wilds of North Carolina to compete in the MBA Rugby World Cup, hosted by Duke's Fuqua School of Business. Twenty-two men's teams and twelve women's teams from around the world converged on five fields just downwind from a large sewage treatment plant to battle it out for the coveted title of World Champion.
